Detectives are investigating the death of a 39-year-old man who collapsed shortly after leaving a gym in Eastleigh, Nairobi.

Police report that Ali Abdile Mohamed had just exited the gym on Saturday morning when he suddenly collapsed outside a nearby mall, where he intended to board a vehicle home.

He was quickly rushed to a hospital in South C but was pronounced dead on arrival.

His body has since been taken to the mortuary for an autopsy and further examinations.

In another incident, a man believed to be a member of the street family was found dead near the local railway line, in Jamhuri area, Nairobi,

The decomposed body of the man was found on Saturday, long after he had died.

The cause of the death was not known and the body was moved to the mortuary, police said.

And in Bus Station area, Nairobi, a suspect was lynched after he had stabbed and tried to rob a woman of her mobile phone.

The woman raised an alarm, alerting a mob which reacted and stoned the suspect to death.

The body was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy and other investigations.
